Ten years ago, I left the vibrant markets of Mexico for the rolling vineyards of France. My family and friends stayed behind \u2014 scattered across continents \u2014 and this blog became my way to shrink the distance. Every recipe I post is a postcard from my everyday life: a quick, veggie-packed dinner whipped up after a long shift, or a weekend pastry experiment that fills the house with buttery warmth.

I\u2019m Ornella \u2014 cook, traveler, and the voice behind this blog.

I grew up in Mexico surrounded by color: chiles drying in the sun, vendors shouting, my abuela\u2019s comal always hot and the smell of fresh tortillas in the air. Food was love, noise, and memory all at once.

Ten years ago, I traded that chaos for the quieter French lifesyle. I landed in a Michelin-starred kitchen, where I spent eight years learning precision, restraint, and how to make a single carrot taste like a revelation. Now, I\u2019m stepping into pastry \u2014 chasing the magic of butter, sugar, and time.

This space is where those worlds meet.
