Classic Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients
  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400 g canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cucumber
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  2. Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Stir in tomato paste, cook for 2 minutes. Add diced tomatoes, broth, oregano, and basil.
  4. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and toss with sauce.
  6. Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese.
